Open-Rank Tenure-Track Position: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor The LSU School of Social Works invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track position to start in August 2026. We are particularly interested in scholars with expertise in the area of Sport Social Work/Positive Youth Development, a rapidly growing social work sub-field that integrates athletic performance, mental health, and youth development. We encourage applicants that also consider sports in community development and with experience in conducting community-engaged research. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to leverage LSU’s national leadership in athletics and health sciences to expand interdisciplinary research, increase externally funded grants, and enhance doctoral education, while also supporting LSU’s land grant mission through impactful community-engaged scholarship and service.
