Your Daily Mission Provides operations functions in one or all of the following areas: operates high volume printing equipment, performs associated printing tasks, operates high volume document scanning equipment, operate high volume mail processing equipment. Sorts, distributes and handles incoming and outgoing mail/, as well as preparing mailing for distribution to vendor for the application of necessary postage. This position reports directly to the Print/Imaging Center Leader. This role will work with a team in the center and will be cross trained on various equipment offering back up and support for each functional area. Position will be onsite at our office: 9445 Rockside Rd, Suite 125, Valley View, OH 44125 Who You Are Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including proficiency with Excel Knowledge on operation of printers/scanners/folder & inserter Print/mail operations experience Understand customer service processing requirements Track/monitor/retrieve information on calls Basic mathematics Ability to apply new concepts quickly Good logical reasoning skills Strong interpersonal skills Requires high school diploma, GED and equivalent work experience Experience in shipping/receiving preferred or prior experience working in a print/imaging center The Reality of the Role Runs high volume printing machines and performs finishing work Operate high volume scanners Operate image handling software Operate MS Office and Email systems Ensures Printers are working properly, stocked with paper and replaces toner as needed checking for quality via daily inspections. Clears paper jams and informs technicians of specific problems. M maintains records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed. Distributes mail to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required. Calculates and maintains some machine accounting data Performs duties related to the shipping and/or receiving of materials. Uses paper cutter, mail inserter, scanners and production printing equipment Uses all printing, folding/inserting & scanning equipment, calculator, postage meter and some PC. Maintains optimal machine performance by correcting simple machine problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, etc.) and having a working knowledge of machine codes to report, in the event of equipment failure.
