Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial machinery installation and repair experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of OSHA standards and safety practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to perform repairs independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good driving record required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Industrial Equipment Installation & Maintenance Install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Technical Inspection & Precision Work Inspect and measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and rules to identify wear or dimensional changes.
  • Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to meet precise tolerances.
  • Identify faulty equipment through observation and diagnostic testing.
  • Safety & Compliance Operate equipment safely following OSHA requirements and site‑specific CMMS protocols.
  • Safely use cranes, hoists, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Technical Interpretation Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Operations Support Collaborate with facility managers to update production processes and system software when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports, logs, and work tickets.
  • Participate in daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and replacement parts.
  • Continuous Improvement Stay current with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems through training, workshops, and technical reading.
