About The Position

ClassDojo’s mission is to help every child love learning. Dojo Tutor advances that mission by matching kids with caring, skilled tutors for 1:1 online sessions that build skills and confidence. We’re growing fast and hearing every day how tutoring changes lives for students and tutors alike. What this opportunity looks like This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. You set your availability, choose your subjects, and teach online; we handle family matching, scheduling tools, and payments so you can focus on instruction. Teaching certification is a plus, not required. Requirements

• Experience helping kids grow in reading, writing, and/or math (e.g., phonics, number sense, current methods)
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children and families
• Professional online setup: computer with camera/mic, stable internet, quiet, well-lit space
• Willingness to complete a background check (required for activation)
