Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience tutoring or teaching math at middle school, high school, or college level.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics such as algebra, geometry, and calculus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students virtually.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms preferred.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via our online platform, adapting to individual student needs.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Develop customized lesson plans and practice exercises tailored to each student’s learning goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of sessions and achievements.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide updates and address concerns.
- Stay current with curriculum standards and e-learning best practices to ensure effective instruction.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new tutoring resources.
