Online Truck Parts Sales Associate (PT)
About The Position
Ohio Truck Sales is a fast-growing truck dealership based in Sandusky, Ohio. We specialize in used semi-trucks and are constantly looking for new ways to maximize value from our inventory. We are launching a focused initiative to sell surplus and used truck parts online — and we need someone hungry to own it. Position Overview We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to manage and grow our online parts sales through platforms like eBay and Facebook Marketplace. This is not just a “posting” job — this is an opportunity to build and run a revenue stream within our business.
Requirements
- Self-starter with strong initiative — you don’t need to be told what to do
- Comfortable using eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of trucks, auto parts, or mechanical components (preferred but not required)
- Good communication skills (you’ll be dealing with buyers directly)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to take decent photos and write clean listings
- Sales mindset — understands pricing, negotiation, and closing
Responsibilities
- Photograph truck parts and components (engines, transmissions, body parts, etc.)
- Create and optimize listings on:
- eBay
- Facebook Marketplace
- Write clear, accurate, and compelling descriptions
- Research pricing to stay competitive
- Respond to messages, inquiries, and negotiate with buyers
- Coordinate with our team on inventory availability and pickups/shipping
- Track sold items and maintain organized listings
- Identify which parts sell
