Job Summary: Join our global team as an online teacher for our United States Diploma Program and immerse yourself in a premium one-on-one teaching environment. This flexible, remote role empowers you to create tailored learning experiences that meet each student's unique needs, all from the comfort of your own home and on a schedule that fits your lifestyle. With full access to our comprehensive teaching resources, you’ll deliver US curricula, making a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys while enjoying the balance and freedom of remote teaching. Class Details: Course: Science 8 Content: Term 2 only Students: 2 students based in Japan (possibility of a 3rd joining) Format: Small group via DV Duration: January 12 – April 3, 2025 (10 weeks of instruction) Break: February 9-20 (2 weeks) Science 8 Schedule (Japan Standard Time): Monday: 11:30 - 12:15 JST Wednesday: 11:30 - 12:15 JST Thursday: 9:00 - 9:45 JST This is a great opportunity to work closely with a small group of students. Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in elementary education or a related field
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative education methods.
• With the ability to dedicate at least 15-20 hours weekly for 6-9 months once you take a student.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching grades 3-5 (Form 4-6)
• Experience teaching online

Responsibilities

• Cover the complete Term 2 curriculum within the 10-week time frame (no extension available)
• Deliver highly engaging live sessions appropriate for a small group setting
• Assign a reasonable amount of homework/independent work (students have designated homework time built into their weekly schedules)
• Maintain consistency with the set days and times throughout the term
• Must be reliable in holding these courses. They cannot be shifted around like traditional DV sessions. Of course, emergencies happen, and that is the exception.
