Online Estate Sale Prep, Sorter, and Packer
About The Position
Caring Transitions delivers professional and courteous services to help seniors and families relocate, downsize, house cleanouts, online auctions, estate sales, and more! In this role, you are part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transition customers in Northeast Ohio. Within a customer’s house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities. This is a great opportunity for any one, but also college students, retirees, stay-at-home caregivers, and others who are looking to make extra cash while helping others and want a flexible schedule. No specific experience is necessary, but is a plus. Paid training provided.
Requirements
- Must be able to properly lift more than 30 pounds
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
- Access to a smart phone for scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps
- Include your availability when applying.
- Part-time hours-no two days or weeks are the same with no guarantee of hours.
Responsibilities
- Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home
- Lifting of boxes/decor and some furniture within the home and to new location
- Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold
- Safely pack and unpack goods
- Disposal of unwanted items for donation or removal
- Delivery and shipping of items purchased through online auction
- Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers
