About The Position

The OnCue Fresh Distribution Merchandising Driver’s primary duty is delivering pre-ordered products based on previous sales per location according to designated shelf space and dispose of expired inventory. This position is responsible for keeping the cooler and equipment clean while cleaning and replacing items as needed. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the business.

Requirements

2 years of experience in delivery and/or merchandising is preferred
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
High level of integrity and professionalism
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
Knowledge of food safety practices
Step safely in/out and operate company route truck per company standard practices and DOT regulations
Repetitively lift/carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate a 2-4 wheel handcard
Bend, turn, twist, step up, reach out, reach overhead, lift overhead, push and pull
Work in a widely varying temperature environment indoors and outdoors, including all weather conditions
Frequent walking required
Ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or work overhead when needed
Ability to communicate through verbal and written practices

Responsibilities

Customer Service with all locations
Maintains and drives route truck safely and uses equipment properly
Electronically record orders and shrink utilizing appropriate software with accuracy
Clean area and equipment with each visit
Load and unload route truck
Deliver products identified for customers
Display products to maximize visibility within approved shelf space
Date code each product
Ensure compliance with all health and safety codes.
Maintain a positive working relationship with other OnCue team members and members of management.
