About The Position

As our Oncology Acute Nurse at Dignity Health St. Joes, you are committed to providing the highest level of patient satisfaction, our 32-Bed Medical-Surgical-Oncology-Telemetry unit, that includes 12 monitored beds, provides unique cross-training opportunities for both experienced and new graduate nurses within this one unit. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
• BLS Certification
• ACLS certification (in monitored areas).

Nice To Haves

• Chemotherapy certification
• One year of recent acute care experience
• One year of Oncology experience
• BSN

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
