The Radiation Oncology Nurse provides comprehensive, compassionate care to patients receiving radiation therapy. This role includes both direct and indirect nursing responsibilities within the radiation oncology clinic, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. The nurse assists physicians during patient evaluations and procedures, performs physical assessments, documents clinical findings, and ensures all aspects of patient care are carried out with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism. Collaboration with the broader care team, including physicians, therapists, and administrative staff is central to this position. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, thrives in a team environment, and brings a strong sense of compassion and commitment to each patient encounter.
