Oncology Hospitalist, MD - Assistant Professor (E)
About The Position
Attend to oncology inpatients: admissions, order management, discharges, supervision of house staff and advanced practice providers, etc., 26 weeks a year (1.00 FTE), primarily at:1. Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) campus, 500 Peachtree Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, and as applicable at2. Emory University Hospital (EUH), 1364 Clifton Road, NE Atlanta, GA 30322Related evening and weekend calls during these rotations.Scholarship, which may include authorship of manuscripts, participation in research studies, abstract presentations, professional blogs, and other scholarly activities.Teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
