Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (PVESC) is a women-founded and led business committed to reimagining the veterinary profession. The Client Service Coordinator is the initial point of contact for Partner Veterinary, responsible for patient and team communication and coordination. This role involves managing patient check-ins/check-outs, handling payments, scheduling, triaging calls, and managing patient records. The position requires empathy and compassion, especially for Oncology patients, and offers the opportunity to work with unique cases with ample resources for optimal patient outcomes. The facility is a 20,000 square foot building designed to encourage interdepartmental communication and collaboration, featuring unique support roles like scribes and onsite MRI and CT.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ ER/urgent/specialty care veterinary client service experience, preferred
  • Understanding of veterinary workflows, procedures, and medical terminology
  • Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network
  • Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients
  • An abundance of empathy and compassion for Oncology patients

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with patience and compassion to clients and team with an “I can help” approach
  • Facilitate team and client communication and coordination
  • Update team members, other services, and the referring community
  • Check in/check out of patients
  • Collect payments
  • Clean rooms in between patient visits
  • Schedule appointments
  • Triage phone calls/voicemails
  • Request records for new patients
  • Send records to referral hospitals
  • Collect new client forms
  • Accurately enter service charges in the processing database
  • Complete end of day financial tasks
