About The Position

Under general supervision, this position focuses on efficiently onboarding new teammates and ensuring compliance with all applicable background, drug screening, licensing, and medical requirements. The Onboarding Specialist provides excellent customer service, maintains accuracy in systems and files, and supports a smooth transition from offer to day one for all new hires.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with data entry, file management, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process for new teammates from offer acceptance through completion of pre-employment and client credentialing requirements.
  • Partner with new hires and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of background checks, drug screenings, and medical clearances.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, managers, and candidates to gather documentation and ensure compliance with onboarding requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within onboarding systems, ATS, and SharePoint.
  • Track onboarding and medical requirements for teammates assigned to specific client sites.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity to candidate circumstances.
  • Maintain compliance documentation in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed to support onboarding operations.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to perform both recruiting and onboarding responsibilities as needed to support team success.
