About The Position

Signal Wealth is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Onboarding & Transitions Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to the success of investment advisors joining our platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition process from start to finish. If you are customer-centric, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a deep understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) space, we’d love to hear from you. As an Onboarding & Transitions Specialist, you will act as a trusted guide for RIAs and Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs) transitioning to Signal Wealth. You’ll work across departments and with external custodians to provide a smooth, white-glove onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in advisor onboarding or transitions within the RIA industry
  • In-depth knowledge of custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab) and RIA operational workflows
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple transitions simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a client-focused, high-performance culture

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Primary Contact: Act as the main operational liaison for new advisors, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their onboarding and transition journey.
  • Facilitate Onboarding Processes: Coordinate the full onboarding lifecycle, including initial kickoff, timeline tracking, milestone management, and go-live support.
  • Document Preparation & Data Management: Collect, organize, and review client data; prepare and generate advisory documents using multiple systems and reporting tools with a high level of accuracy and compliance awareness.
  • Transition Oversight: Manage the transfer of client accounts and assets, ensuring timely and accurate updates from custodians such as Fidelity and Schwab. Keep all internal and external stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential transition roadblocks. Communicate directly with custodians via phone and platform interfaces to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and proactive communication with advisors, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure expectations are aligned and transitions stay on track.
