Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare administration, onboarding, credentialing, or education coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of home health or hospice operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage onboarding for new hires, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, therapists, and administrative staff
  • Collect, track, and maintain required onboarding and credentialing documentation
  • Verify licenses and certifications through appropriate state and regulatory databases
  • Order and track background checks and other pre-employment requirements
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel and credentialing files
  • Partner closely with the Corporate Recruiter to ensure a smooth transition from hiring to onboarding
  • Communicate onboarding status, missing items, and deadlines clearly with new hires and internal teams
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Staff Development Director
  • Assist with coordinating orientation, in-service trainings, and ongoing education programs
  • Monitor education and compliance reports to ensure staff remain current
  • Track completion of mandatory training and competencies and follow up as needed
  • Prepare and distribute new-hire letters, training notices, and related communications
  • Support documentation, reporting, and record-keeping for education activities
  • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding and education-related questions
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage tracking logs, reports, and correspondence
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, HR, and administrative teams to support agency operations
