About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Onboarding & Education Assistant to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: The Education Department Onboarding and Education Assistant plans, implements, evaluates and oversees the onboarding process including but not limited to new hires and other non-clinical education programs as determined. They assist in the record keeping for all education required by MVH and IFCH employees. The Onboarding and Education Assistant works collaboratively with the Education team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcomes internal and external customers in person, or by answering all incoming calls to either personally address their needs or when necessary, refers them to the appropriate Education Team Member. Assists education team with the maintenance of all education records and files including the Learning Management system records Ensures MVH and IFCH new hire employees are scheduled for their onboarding process. Ensures the accuracy of any supporting documents for employee records. Ensures AHA certifications and rosters are issued and generated within an appropriated time frame. Works with the other segments of the Education Department to ensure that the LMS provides the appropriate training as required by MVH and IFCH. Ensures that any training requested of any authorized personnel is received and accurately completed. Collects data for and assists in the preparation of reports as required and/or requested. The Employee is required to comply with all Payment Card Industry-PCI standards and other company policies and procedures for payment card acceptance and security. Assists with the scheduling of classes/courses as requested. Helps ensure that all AHA classes are accurately listed in the LMS for registration use for employees. Assists the AHA Coordinator in keeping records current in case of audit that may be presented to the TC Collaborates with other members of the Education department as needed. Demonstrates effective proactive situational leadership while working within the framework of Mountain View’s mission, vision, and values by actively supporting new programs and changes in the organization. Experience: One or more years in clerical, computer skills, in addition to two or more years with customer service experience. Requirements

  • One or more years in clerical, computer skills, in addition to two or more years with customer service experience.
