About The Position

Serves as the Onboarding/Crossboarding/Offboarding Manager. Leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Onboarding/Crossboarding/Offboarding program. Serves as full-line supervisor. Oversees updates to the DHS employee performance evaluation processes.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
  • Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience with onboarding new employees and employee separations in a public or business organization.
  • Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of professional experience standardizing an employee lifecycle program.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience leading focus groups or subcommittees with a focus in standardizing a process to better an employee's experience.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience conducting and analyzing exit interviews then producing actionable reports.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience redesigning or enhancing performance evaluation systems, with a focus on integrating regular, constructive feedback and developing comprehensive training programs to ensure consistent understanding and application of the evaluation process across all levels of staff.
  • Two (2) years of professional experience providing guidance and/or coaching to employees or individuals on procedures required for personnel transactions or related administrative tasks.
  • Three (3) years of professional supervisory experience in a large public or private organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Onboarding/Crossboarding/Offboarding Manager.
  • Leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Onboarding/Crossboarding/Offboarding program.
  • Serves as full-line supervisor.
  • Oversees updates to the DHS employee performance evaluation processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
