About The Position

Children of America is seeking a motivated and experienced Onboarding and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for administrative functions in the Human Resource Department including collecting company and state required documents to initiate the new hire onboarding process and time clock access.

Requirements

Must have at least two years of onboarding and compliance experience
Associate degree or college experience required.

Responsibilities

Ensures the onboarding process meets all requirements and adheres to all employment laws.
Executes all pre-hire compliance related steps to determine hiring criteria within the field including but not limited to background checks, drug screens, and verification of professional licenses.
Notifies management and/or departments regarding onboarding process issues; collaborates and advises as appropriate and escalates non-compliance issues and concerns.
Ensure new hire is entered into the time clock system.
Maintains Human Resource Information System records to reflect additions, terminations and changes in employee records as needed; keeping employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and customer focus.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.
Ensure that all human resource activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Children of America.
Passionate about Children of America's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission and values of Children of America to employees.
