On-Site Support Staff Lead / Program Manager
About The Position
ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The On-Site Support Staff Lead will serve as the primary lead for the contractor support team and will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations supporting ONR Code 32. The selected candidate will provide leadership and coordination for contractor personnel while ensuring tasks are assigned, executed, and completed in accordance with ONR business rules and program requirements. The Support Staff Lead will work closely with ONR government leadership and program personnel to ensure efficient program execution supporting Science & Technology (S&T) and Research & Development (R&D) initiatives within the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring team performance and mission success.
Requirements
- Current SECRET level clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance prior to contract award.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least ten (10) years of management experience providing business and financial support to organizations with Science & Technology (S&T) and/or Research & Development (R&D) missions. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn the ONR organizational structure and understand the functions of the components within the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE), including the roles of ONR Program Officers and Science Advisors in S&T development.
- Demonstrated recent experience leading an on-site contractor team of ten (10) or more personnel, including coordinating and overseeing staff efforts to ensure tasks are properly assigned and completed on time.
- Experience ensuring team activities are executed in accordance with ONR Business Rules and execution requirements.
- Ability to effectively coordinate contractor staff activities and interface with Government leadership to support program objectives and mission requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure timely task completion, and maintain high levels of accuracy and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining effective coordination with Government personnel and contractor team members.
