We are seeking a Full-time On-Site Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in West Covina, CA . This role includes a 50% rent discount , giving you the opportunity to live on-site in either a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom unit , making this a strong value position for someone looking to combine work and housing.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience
- Experience in: Electrical, Plumbing, Plumbing, Carpentry/woodwork, Tile work & Water line installation
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs+
- Must have: Basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s license

- Trade certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with residents, vendors, and team members
- Ensure community cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall property standards
- Complete daily work orders and assist with unit turns
- Perform general maintenance, including: Plumbing Electrical Painting Appliance repair Basic HVAC
- Clean and maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds
- Identify and report maintenance issues proactively
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents
- Support the Community Manager and team with maintenance-related needs
