About The Position

This position is for a Member Service Representative within a well-known Medical Group in West Hills, CA. The role involves receiving incoming calls through phone queues from Members and Health Plans, addressing multiple issues. Candidates are expected to maintain or exceed quality and productivity standards, handling a minimum of 50+ calls per day with corresponding documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, including a clear understanding of how HMO Insurance works, and experience in a production environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of medical experience
  • At least 6 months of experience taking inbound calls
  • At least 1-2 years of healthcare experience
  • Clear understanding of how HMO Insurance work
  • Previous healthcare experience coming from a Production Environment
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Customer service skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Healthcare industry knowledge

  • Bilingual in Spanish
