This position provides assistance to the Family Advocacy Program Manager (FAPM) with Family Advocacy Program (FAP) efforts. This includes administrative support, analytics, and coordination of services for the installation Army Community Services FAP, supporting prevention, education, training, and direct services. The role involves coordinating and implementing FAP efforts, providing administrative and analytical support, and assisting in the development of FAP-related trainings such as Problematic Sexual Behavior-Child and Youth (PSBCY), Incident Determination Committee-Clinical Case Staff Meeting (IDC CCSM), Victim Advocacy, and New Parent Support. The assistant collaborates with multidisciplinary staff and installation agencies, drafts and implements Standard Operating Procedures, Memoranda of Understanding, and Memoranda of Agreement using Department of Army (DA) regulations. The role also involves representing the FAPM in coordinating with county and state agencies for FAP activities, analyzing family violence statistics for reporting to senior leadership, and managing quality control for FAP reporting structures to ensure completeness and accuracy. Additional duties include coordinating, scheduling, providing logistical support, performing administrative functions, maintaining calendars, supporting program meetings by taking minutes, maintaining FAP training rosters, assisting with certification files and preparation for reviews, providing initial client/customer triage for FAP referrals, and facilitating the periodic DA installation certification process.
