The On-Shore Support (OSS), serves as the primary on-shore support professional for the Sailing School. This role ensures a safe, organized, welcoming, and well-managed shore environment while providing attentive care to students who are injured, ill, or temporarily removed from on-water activities. It also involves being the point of contact for parents during school hours. This seasonal role involves classroom, dry-land presence on weekdays (all day, typically 9am-4pm). The Sailing School summer session is June 1 to Aug 21. We offer competitive compensation starting at $3,500 per month (based on experience; negotiable for exceptional candidates) . The OSS "Shore Parent" supports administrative logistics, parent communication, check-in/check-out procedures, and help maintaining a clean, professional facility consistent with US Sailing safety and SafeSport standards. Parents of current and former Sailing School students are strongly encouraged to apply. The OSS "Shore Parent" does not provide medical diagnosis — only certified first aid and supervisory care.
