About The Position

Bright Beginnings Childcare Center is seeking reliable, nurturing, and flexible On-Call/Substitute Teachers to support our classrooms as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children, can step into different age groups with confidence, and value a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare staff
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare or early childhood experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years
• Step into classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate ratios
• Follow daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom routines
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and well-being
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff and management
• Follow all center policies, state licensing regulations, and health & safety procedures
