About The Position

As the laundry attendant, you will maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. You will report to the Laundry Facilities Manager or Director.

Requirements

• Work with different cleaning agents, tools, and equipment
• Complete training on bloodborne pathogens and perform required bloodborne pathogens procedures
• Work flexible hours including weekends
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment including Chicago Iron, CBW and Towel Folder.
• Separate torn, stained and unusable laundry for inspection.
• Clean equipment such as removing detergent build-up in washers and cleaning lint traps in dryers.
• Monitor equipment and report any safety, noise, or breakage issues.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
