About The Position

The Clinton Presidential Center is the premier venue in Central Arkansas for any occasion, and we promise to leave you and your guests with a lasting impression. The Center boasts more than 10,000 square feet of unparalleled space for any event. The Server is responsible for providing exceptional service while delivering food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner; and preparing for catered functions as required. This position is responsible for proper set up of tables as directed; and that dishes, utensils and food/beverage items are properly placed. Servers will serve meals and beverages by course, promptly handle requests from customers and remove dishes when appropriate. Clean areas at the close of each event. Cleanliness, food safety, exceptional customer service and hospitality should be always maintained.

Requirements

• You must have a Real ID or a Passport to work at the Foundation and access the NARA building.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of server experience.
• Must be able to multi-task and cope with varied and fast-paced activities.
• Must be able to work morning shifts.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food serving area for various functions, to include properly setting tables and related furniture for special functions, wiping and polishing silverware, etc.
• Serves meals and beverages in a professional and courteous manner; removes dishes when appropriate; responds promptly to requests from guests while remaining customer service oriented.
• Cleans all areas that were used for special function upon completion.
• Complies with all policies and standards/procedures applicable to the position, including attendance, time, quality control, and other standards.
