About The Position
The On-Air Student Newscaster will prepare, record, and properly distribute newscasts that air on WGLT or WCBU. This position works closely with the WGLT and WCBU news director or their designees to make good story decisions during newscast preparation. The position will be regularly evaluated ("airchecked") to ensure quality control.
Requirements
- Requires enrollment in or completion of COM 162/Intro to Radio, CTK 240, or similar experience
- Effectively communicate on a daily basis
Nice To Haves
- Adobe Audition experience (or comparable software) preferred
