About The Position

96.5 TIC in Hartford is seeking local part-time on-air personalities for live shifts. The ideal candidate loves pop culture, social media and has previous radio on-air experience. Knowledge of WideOrbit automation is a plus. This is a pipeline posting. We are always on the lookout for exceptional talent to join our dynamic team. Requirements

• Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills, a team-first mentality and a strong social brand/following
• Knowledge of the format and audience required
• Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of WideOrbit automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
• Protect the station’s FCC license
• Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
• Operate the control board and perform production work
• Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
• Other duties as required by management
