About the Role Atlantis University Campus Radio is seeking a dynamic and versatile On-Air Personality/Producer to join our broadcast team. This pivotal role combines creativity, technical expertise, and engaging communication to deliver compelling content that resonates with our diverse audience. If you have a passion for storytelling, a keen ear for production quality, and the ability to connect with listeners, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in the broadcast media industry. Key Objectives Deliver live, engaging on-air content that informs, entertains, and connects with listeners. Produce high-quality radio segments, coordinating all aspects of show preparation and execution. Collaborate with the programming team to develop innovative content and promotional strategies. Maintain technical standards to ensure seamless broadcast operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an on-air personality, radio producer, or similar role in broadcast media.
- Strong verbal communication and interviewing skills with a clear, engaging voice.
- Proficiency with broadcast equipment, audio editing software, and live streaming platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative content ideas.
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and broadcast standards is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in college or commercial radio stations highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Host live radio shows, interviews, and special segments with energy and professionalism.
- Plan, script, and produce daily programming, including music selection, guest coordination, and content research.
- Operate and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and software to ensure smooth transmission.
- Collaborate with producers, DJs, and other team members to create cohesive and engaging programming.
- Monitor audience feedback and ratings to continuously improve show content and delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends, music, and news relevant to the station’s target audience.
- Manage social media and promotional activities related to on-air content.
