Requirements

• Current Minnesota teaching license required
• Proficient in Ojibwe Language
• Successful background check required
• Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught
• thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching
• ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior
• ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports
• ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents
• Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents
• Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty
• Provide an ideal, positive learning environment
