About The Position

Oil & Gas Courthouse Landman / Title Imager (OH & WV – Utica/Marcellus) – Full-Time Contract Overview: We are hiring experienced Courthouse Landmen / Title Imagers to support oil & gas due diligence projects across Ohio and West Virginia . This is a full-time contract position focused on retrieving records not available online. If you know your way around a courthouse and can get what others can’t—this role is for you. What You’ll Do: Perform courthouse research in key counties across Ohio and West Virginia Retrieve and image documents including: Leases Assignments Deeds and other title records Support due diligence teams by filling gaps in online data Deliver organized, accurate records in a timely manner Travel to multiple counties as needed Key Coverage Areas Include: Ohio (Utica): Belmont, Carroll, Harrison, Monroe, Guernsey Counties West Virginia (Marcellus): Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler, Doddridge Counties What We’re Looking For: Prior oil & gas courthouse experience required Familiarity with county records systems in OH and/or WV Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Willingness to travel between counties as needed Preferred: Experience working in Utica and/or Marcellus regions Established familiarity with local courthouses and records access What to Expect: Full-time contract role Field-based work (local or travel required) Fast-paced project environment supporting active deals Closing: We’re looking for people who know how to navigate a courthouse, move quickly, and deliver exactly what the team needs—no hand holding required.

Requirements

• Prior oil & gas courthouse experience required
• Familiarity with county records systems in OH and/or WV
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel between counties as needed
