About The Position

Toyota of Murfreesboro has a need for Automotive Oil Change Technicians. We have a career program for technicians, regardless of experience level. We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready to work in a fast-paced environment. As an oil change technician, you will perform basic services on vehicles and thorough multi-point inspections. This position is intended to be a starting point for your career in the Automotive Industry. We provide training for your position and a pathway to becoming a fully certified Toyota Technician.

Requirements

Prior experience is preferred
Communication skills – communicates effectively with others
Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to life 50lbs
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Good reading, computer and mathematics skills
Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
Personal and professional integrity
Positive attitude
Clean driving record
Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Perform basic maintenance needs (oil changes, tire rotations, filters, batteries, wipers) according to the repair order for each vehicle
Work in a high efficiency two-person team
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first
Presents a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns
Ensures the customer’s needs are understood and met
