About The Position

Hubler Chevrolet, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated Oil Change Technician to join our team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record according to company policy.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capability to lift at least 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands to operate tools and equipment.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching is necessary.
  • Good visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Safe operation of equipment and movement of vehicles required.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and fosters teamwork.
  • Adheres to company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides excellent customer service efficiently and fairly.
  • Maintains professionalism, integrity, and avoids conflicts of interest.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages time.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy in all work.
  • Reliable and punctual with responsiveness to management.
  • Follows safety protocols and uses equipment correctly.

  • Local state inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multipoint inspections on customer vehicles.
  • Maintain legal, financial, and ethical standards to protect the dealership.
  • Support and assist coworkers to foster team success.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance business operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure efficient productivity and cost control measures.
  • Keep vehicles and work areas clean and safe during service.
  • Follow OSHA and EPA safety and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
