About The Position

Visit Vessels in Gulf of Mexico, during port calls, mobilizations, demobilizations Undergo internal training according to Rosehill Resources training and competence matrix: Management System Training, incl. Unisea, TM Master, OCS and Rosehill Resources Workbook Provide training and advice in Rosehill Resources Risk Assessment and Permit to Work procedure incl. usage of Permit to Work system Ensure annual control and re-certification of safety equipment according to Rosehill Resources working and rescue at height standard (fall safety equipment) Carry out Permit to Work audits during onboard visits Report all vessel visit reports in Unisea and forward to HSEQ Manager and to the VP of Subsea Provide course certificates to course department after training sessions Review vessel Safety Observation Cards, JSA and TBT Inspect WAH and Fall Rescue Equipment Manage PPE Inventory Be “hands on” with the practical performance Focus on lifting operations, dropped object Promote safety reporting Liaise with Contractor HSE personnel in implementing Rosehill Resources and Project HSEQ procedures as required Participate or lead incidents investigation Participate in and execute walkabouts/inspections/audits findings are closed out as required Ensure all HSE requirements as governed in the IMS are effectively implemented on board the vessel (HSE meetings, Hygiene inspections, HSE walkthroughs, Drills etc.) Execute training, follow up campaigns and support the HSEQ Onshore department as required Duties/Tasks: Assist Project Managers/Offshore Managers and HSEQ in preparing and revising vessel Risk Assessments. Contribute and assist HSEQ Dept. by performing internal audits, training sessions and revision of procedures. Participate in HSEQ meetings, if required.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years’ experience from sailing on offshore support or construction vessels
  • Training/courses as defined in the company competence matrix (training program can compensate for lack of experience)
  • Working and Rescue at height according to ANSI Z359.2
