To strengthen our motivated manufacturing team, we are looking for a skilled Offset Literature Press Operator to join our operations. Your Role You are confident in performing thorough area clearance activities to prevent product mix-ups and ensure compliance with quality standards You will read, interpret, and understand job tickets to determine correct job setup and production requirements You have the ability to set up and operate printing presses, making precise adjustments to achieve proper alignment and color accuracy You will maintain optimal press settings to consistently deliver high-quality output while meeting efficiency and productivity goals You will conduct pre-setup and in-process inspections to identify defects early and maintain product quality You will maintain accurate and complete production records by following good documentation practices You are committed to identifying, flagging, and segregating nonconforming product in accordance with quality procedures You will set up and perform preventive maintenance activities on presses and related equipment You will ensure partial rolls are properly wrapped, labeled, and prepared for transfer to the warehouse You will maintain inks and rollers in accordance with work instructions and manufacturing requirements You are driven to perform regular preventive maintenance to support optimal press performance and reliability You are committed to supporting safety goals by maintaining a clean, organized work area and promptly reporting unsafe conditions You will comply with all environmental, OSHA, and safety requirements, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You bring at least three years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • You have basic math and computer skills and are comfortable working with production data and systems
  • You bring strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working hands-on with equipment and machinery
  • You are detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
  • You are physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds as part of your role
  • You thrive in a detailed, fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

  • You bring experience working in a team leadership or mentoring role (preferred)
  • You have familiarity with cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical printing or packaging environments, or are motivated to develop this expertise (preferred)
