About The Position

SAFETY: 1) Understand and follow all safety procedures a) Current on all safety trainings b) Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs) 2) Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas. 3) Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks. TECHNICAL SKILLS: 1) Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, or scales. 2) Effectively load the correct product on to the line and record the product on the loading sheet. 3) Inspect the boards for defects and stack them neatly on the correct pallet. 4) Record all made product, rejects, and downtime on correct paperwork. 5) Follow all safety guidelines and regulations for the area 6) Understand and perform correctly all necessary quality checks to ensure a properly cut trim board. 7) Keep all areas clean and free from debris by following standard work daily cleaning sheets. EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: 1) Trim Saw 2) Biesse Saw 3) Soffit Press 4) Pactool PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and push-pull up to 75 pounds. 2) Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping 3) Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery. 4) Must be able to visually identify quality defects and concerns with the product line.
