About The Position
Primary Purpose: Under general supervision, provide routine security duties and protection for students and vehicles in student parking lot and provide first line of assistance/intervention in dealing with related issues. Assist school administration, SBLE, and staff in maintaining order, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that student school code of conduct and district local board policies are followed on school property.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess an understanding of school safety, disciplinary rules and regulations.
- Ability to record information
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work effectively with students
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of Incident Command Structures and district emergency and security procedures
- Knowledge of security
Nice To Haves
- CPR Certification preferred
- One year previous experience as a licensed security guard preferred.
