In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)/Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS) Support Staff Wanted! Within the Integrated Systems of Care Division, our IHSS/WPCS Unit is seeking an individual with customer service experience to process various requests in support of the WPCS program and maintain accurate records. Reporting to the Staff Service Manager, you must possess strong speaking and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with others. We need someone detail-oriented who can handle a large workload efficiently and learn new systems. The work performed is essential for the Californians we serve, so join us to make a difference! Results from the Office Technician (Typing) (EX-2012) examination currently in progress may be utilized for filling these position(s). This is a statewide recruitment, and the position may be located in the following locations: Sacramento, CA. Please see the Telework Information section below for telework details. Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Strong speaking and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle a large workload efficiently
  • Ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications
  • Obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
  • Ability to type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute
  • Supplemental Application (SA)
