About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the activities and tasks performed within the areas of general administration, financial analysis, and business support for a manufacturing facility. May also incorporate delivery of local human resource support. Manages receipt and invoicing activity, resolves invoice exceptions and tracks freight receivers for AP processing. Supports month-end closing activities, financial documentation filing and maintenance, and manages the local bank account. Performs GL entries and balances related to miscellaneous inventory management; prepares, coordinates, and executes cycle counts and physical inventory; and closes inventory, including the review of pending transactions. Supports payroll processing activities including the time-keeping system. Provides leadership and support to the Shared Service Administrator Creates analysis reports for management regarding various cost, efficiency, and inventory trends. Requirements

  • 3-5 Years office experience required.
  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping aptitude with a basic understanding of general Human Resources practices (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Conscientious and detail oriented. Well-developed organization skills are required to effectively undertake and prioritize the multitude of tasks.
  • Versatile and readily adaptable to new, different, or changing circumstances.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Experience using Oracle financial software is strongly preferred
  • ADP experience (preferred)
