About The Position

As the Office & Store Manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the office and camp store while leading and developing office/store staff. You manage financial systems, inventory, guest support, and administrative procedures that keep camp organized and efficient. You make sure families and staff get the service they need and that behind-the-scenes work is solid and reliable. You will spend your summer supervising and coaching office and store staff, managing sales and inventory, overseeing camper check-ins and payments, handling financial processes, and partnering with leadership across departments to support smooth camp operations.

Requirements

  • 21 or older.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 3+ years of retail and office management experience.
  • Strong and clear leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong organizational, financial, and systems development skills.
  • Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills based in empathy.
  • Comfortable with technology including Google Workspace and point-of-sale systems.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stay on your feet, and work long shifts.
  • Someone reliable who shows up on time and works hard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the office and store team - training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
  • Oversee office operations including phones, payments, camper records, waivers, and customer support.
  • Manage store operations including inventory, purchasing, merchandising, POS, and daily sales.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, prepare deposits, and ensure controls are followed.
  • Partner with leadership to track obligations, plan priorities, and improve systems.
  • Provide direct guest support - greeting families, answering questions, and helping solve issues.
