Office Specialist – Administrative Support for Behavioral Health Services Join the team at Lincoln Regional Center and play an important role supporting the delivery of compassionate mental health care. Requirements

  • Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency.
  • Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Knowledge of: Administrative and clerical support practices and procedures Basic recordkeeping and data management Customer service principles Business writing, grammar, and proofreading Office software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to: Communicate effectively in person, by phone, email, and written correspondence Work professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds Prepare, review, and maintain accurate reports and documentation Follow policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information Stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 Years Experience: Proficient using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook for daily administrative tasks
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and staying organized in a busy work environment
  • Experience handling administrative work accurately, including detailed recordkeeping, reviewing documents, and detailed data entry

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient funds, including reconciliation and processing withdrawal requests
  • Support meetings with agendas and minutes
  • Maintain staffing analysis spreadsheets and multiple excel spreadsheets
  • Scan and distribute documents, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars
  • Order and maintain nursing supply inventory
  • Assist with data collection and documentation management for medication error reporting
  • Conduct audits of restraint and seclusion documentation
  • Ensure required nursing unit audits are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain patient property and inventory records
  • Provide backup support to the Reception Center
  • Provide backup support to the Staffing Office
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
