About The Position

The Office & Special Projects Manager is the steward of the Bad Birdie HQ experience, blending hospitality, concierge-level service, operational excellence, and project leadership to keep our Scottsdale office running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you’ll stay active throughout the day, owning the office experience and helping create a welcoming, polished environment for our team, guests, and partners. We’re looking for someone who is naturally proactive, takes pride in the details, and consistently follows through. Reports To: Head of Operations & People Schedule: his role is primarily on-site at our Scottsdale HQ Monday–Thursday when most of our corporate team is in the office. Fridays are typically flexible/remote, with occasional in-office needs for guests, vendors, events, or urgent office priorities.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and comfort working with senior leaders

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary host of BBHQ, welcoming guests, candidates, partners, and vendors
  • Create a warm, thoughtful, elevated in-office experience aligned with the Bad Birdie brand
  • Ensure conference rooms, shared spaces, and amenities are always ready and functional
  • Partner with leadership and staff to raise hospitality standards across the office
  • Own daily office readiness: opening/closing, cleanliness, organization, and supplies
  • Keep the office consistently guest-ready, functional, and well-maintained
  • Proactively identify and resolve facilities, maintenance, and operational issues
  • Maintain office SOPs and playbooks to ensure consistency and continuity
  • Lead and execute office-related and cross-functional special projects
  • Support HQ enhancements, space improvements, and operational initiatives
  • Assist with leadership offsites, internal events, and key company moments
  • Drive projects from idea to execution to completion with minimal oversight
  • Own relationships with property management, building services, and office vendors
  • Coordinate work orders, improvements, and ongoing office needs through completion
  • Manage service providers with a high bar for quality, responsiveness, and follow-through
  • Manage office-related budgets and expenses responsibly
  • Track spend, flag risks early, and recommend improvements
  • Balance speed with thoughtfulness, prioritizing what matters most
