About The Position

The Office Services Assistant is responsible for providing backup support for the reception desk, distributing packages and mail, assisting with planning events including setup and breakdown, performing daily cleaning tasks and performing light assembly of various office items.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with tools and doing repairs.
  • Knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical systems and well as fire systems.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Proactive, quick-learner, and self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute packages, mail and other material throughout the building/facility.
  • Perform light assembly of various office items.
  • Provide backup support for reception desk including greeting and assisting customers and visitors.
  • Set up and break down for all office events and meetings.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, both inside and outside the facility.
  • Daily cleaning projects, such as window washing and ensuring that the building and facility looks inviting.
  • Seasonal work, which includes leaf cleanup, snow removal, holiday decorating, etc.
  • Responsible for light landscaping tasks.
  • Receiving payments from customers by credit card or check.
  • Directing incoming calls to appropriate LRS employees.
  • Assist with planning events from the space needed to onsite support during event and clean-up as well as break down.
  • Provide assistance to office assistant/manager as needed.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
