About The Position

Washington Gas is Seeking an Office Services Assistant II. As an Office Services Assistant II, you will play a key role in supporting mailroom operations and office logistics across Washington Gas locations.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED and basic computer skills
Valid Driver's License
Use of personal vehicle as required
CDL holders are subject to testing under federal highway regulations

Responsibilities

Route, re-route, and schedule inside and outside messenger service.
Sort, deliver, and pick up mail on designated floors, both internal and the U.S. mail.
Receive and deliver specialized packages from UPS, FedEx, etc.
Prepare and affix postage on all outgoing mail by using postage machine and scale.
Scan and receive specialized packages from UPS, FedEx, Miller's Office Supply and other deliveries.
Prepare monthly reports for postage machine, incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain correct rates and regulations by downloading new postal rates as needed and arrange for service on the postage machine.
Reset postage meter on the last working day of each month.
Assist reprographics with special projects, label, stuffing, etc. Assist reprographics with convenience copiers.
Use Microsoft Office software for emails and prepare postage report.
use Pallet jack to move pallets as needed.
Maintain mailbox labeling at all Washington Gas locations. Assist colleagues at Wharf with mailroom duties, as needed.
