About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our primary care office. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow, excellent patient experiences, and strong team coordination. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with healthcare administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in medical office management or healthcare administration
  • Strong knowledge of primary care operations and medical terminology
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems and practice management software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively
  • Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies.
  • Minimum three years of healthcare experience required, including one year of management or specific leadership experience in health care.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement processes preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably with coursework in health care administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization
  • Supervise front desk, billing, and administrative staff
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Oversee patient scheduling systems and improve operational efficiency
  • Handle patient concerns and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Coordinate with providers to support clinical operations
  • Manage office budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Assist with billing, insurance verification, and revenue cycle processes as needed
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
  • Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
  • Skill in problem solving.
  • Skill in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to set priorities among multiple requests.
  • Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively.
