Position Summary: Responsible for the supervision of department reception and medical assistant teams. Create and maintain a smooth workflow process in assigned office location(s). Ensure that the office runs efficiently at all times and patient needs are met in a timely and customer service friendly environment. The Office Manager must be able to work without direct day to day supervision, exercising independent judgment. The Office Manager must be present on-site during clinic hours. The Office Manager must be able to analyze problems and draw upon experience and background knowledge to see that solutions are reached, and assignments completed. The Office Manager is responsible for all phases of work, from determining priority to completion and monitoring for the accuracy and quality of work performed by department staff. The Office Manager oversees the physicians schedule and ensures reception and MAs are adequately communicating and coordinating tasks, physician messages, and patient needs on a daily basis.
