Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Two to three years of experience in Medicare/Medicaid billing or experience in management functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, the internet, e-mail and desktop navigation.
  • Knowledge of or experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time, tasks, and files.
  • Can type at least 40-50 words per minute
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Must be willing to obtain computer knowledge with hospice computer systems.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year experience in hospice preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Home Care Home Base experience preferred
