About The Position

No two days are the same in this job. As our Office Manager, you'll be the hub that keeps everything moving — front desk and phones, order entry, shipping and receiving, purchasing, and customer service. You'll work directly with the owner and a small, tight-knit shop team. If you thrive in an environment where you're trusted to own your work, you enjoy variety, and you take pride in running a tight operation — this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of office administration, customer service, or operations experience
  • Experience with an ERP, Point of Sale, or business management system
  • Comfortable with accounts receivable and basic accounts payable processes
  • Shipping and receiving experience — UPS/FedEx, bills of lading, freight coordination
  • Self-starter who can manage their own day without close supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Great communicator — friendly, direct, and professional on the phone and in person

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an equipment, trades, industrial, or wholesale environment is a plus — but not required if you're a fast learner

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and help walk-in customers at the counter — you're often the first voice and face of our company
  • Create customer orders and invoices in our ERP/POS system
  • Process outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight
  • Receive and check in vendor shipments; match to purchase orders
  • Create and issue purchase orders to vendors; follow up on open orders and back-orders
  • Apply customer payments to open invoices
  • Support the owner and shop team with day-to-day administrative needs
