You’ll wear many hats in this dynamic role: overseeing daily operations, coordinating schedules, supporting marketing initiatives, engaging with customers over the phone, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly behind the scenes. Requirements

A strong, confident communicator—especially on the phone.
Highly organized and detail-oriented—you love structure and efficiency.
A multitasking pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Experienced with QuickBooks Online and comfortable managing bookkeeping tasks.
Self-motivated, proactive, and energized by taking initiative.

Nice To Haves

Experience in flooring, construction, or home improvement is a strong plus and will help you thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

Serve as the friendly face and voice of our business, ensuring every customer has a seamless, 5-star experience.
Schedule appointments for our Design Associates and follow up on open proposals to keep projects moving forward.
Support and execute local marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness.
Represent Floor Coverings International at home shows and community events (occasional evenings/weekends).
Maintain an organized, welcoming office environment.
Maintain accurate financial records and partner with bookkeeper to keep QuickBooks updated daily (required).
Update Salesforce daily with job progress and scheduling (training provided).
Manage team calendars, marketing activities, and Owner commitments.
Meet weekly with the Owner to review sales, align on project timelines, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
Take ownership of key operational and administrative functions so the Owner can focus on growth and revenue.
Participate in weekly strategy meetings and work toward clear weekly and monthly goals.
